Sri Lanka to host West Indies for two Tests in November-December 2021


Sri Lanka are confirmed to kick-start their 2023 World Test Championship cycle with two home Tests against West Indies in November-December 2021. This will also mark the start of the cycle for the visiting side.

West Indies are expected to arrive in Sri Lanka on November 10, and play a warm-up fixture from November 14 in Colombo. The first Test then follows from November 21st and the second from November 29 – both at the Galle International stadium in the Sri Lankan capital.

In the previous cycle of 2019-21, Sri Lanka and West Indies finished seventh and eighth on the table with just one series win each of the six they played.
