MI have started winning at the right time and have found form in the at the end of the tournament. Starting at the bottom half of the points table, the five-time champions have managed to win the last seven matches out of nine played and are looking well settled.
Batting has done well for Mumbai, with Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav and Kishan Kishan leading the lineup. The three have covered up for Rohit’s form with the bat in hand.
Bowling has also started to do well as Madhwal, Chawla and Behrendorff are doing a fine job. It is now about continuing the momentum against GT.
The Hardik Pandya-led side were slightly behind in the batting against CSK. Over-reliance on Shubman Gill has started to stop working for GT. Middle order have not got going this season for GT. Miller and Pandya’s inconsistency is costing games for GT.
