New Zealand beat India by 5 wickets and in process complete a historic series sweep. Henry Nicholls starred in the chase while CDG finished the game off in style with a breath-taking half-century. Yuzvendra Chahal finished with a three-wicket haul but other bowlers failed to impress.
Earlier, KL Rahul slammed his 4th ODI hundred and Shreyas Iyer (62) and Manish Pandey (42) made useful contributions as India finished with 296 for 7 after being sent in by New Zealand in the 3rd ODI at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
Rahul finished with 112, with 9 fours and 2 sixes. India were reduced to 62 for 3 as Mayank Agarwal (3), Virat Kohli (9) and Prithvi Shaw (44) failed to get big scores. Rahul got together first with Iyer and then with Pandey to forge two hundred-run partnerships as India made a comeback in the match. For New Zealand, Hamish Bennett picked up 4 wickets for 64 runs in his 10 overs.
