Nick Hobson played a pivotal role in the Scorchers’ batting effort, contributing a crucial 42-run innings in just 30 balls. Cooper Connolly also made a valuable contribution with 34 runs. Despite the absence of substantial partnerships, Hobson showcased his ability to accelerate in the death overs, scoring his last 39 runs off just 23 balls, providing a significant boost to the Scorchers’ total.

    On the bowling front, Michael Neser stood out for the Heat, taking 2 wickets for just 21 runs, displaying his effectiveness with the ball.
